レーザリストSHUHEI YAMAWAKIを中心にしたレーザーテクニカルチーム『センスオブワンダー』。関西を拠点にミレニアムより活動し、ベッドルームから世界遺産に至るさまざまな規模のレーザー演出を行なっている。近年ではハイパワーレーザーによるアウトドアフィールドでのアウトプットに主軸を置く他、活動はPV/MVへの光源提供、メジャーアーティストのツアーへの技術提供など多岐に渡る。
またアンダーグラウンド・テクノ・ヴィルトゥオーソ「TAKAAKI ITOH」のインディペンデンスレーベルの名を冠としたディープテクノパーティー『WOLS』を主宰し、2022年には同名のBAR『WOLS』を西日本屈指のディープスポット味園にオープン。奇才美術家OLEOによる内装が話題を集めた。
Sence of Wonder – Laser Technical Team led by SHUHEI YAMAWAKI
Based in Kansai and active since the millennium, Sence of Wonder is a laser technical team led by laserist Shuhei Yamawaki. Their work spans a wide range of settings—from intimate bedrooms to UNESCO World Heritage Sites—delivering laser productions of various scales.
In recent years, the team has focused on high-powered laser outputs in outdoor fields, while also contributing to music videos, promotional visuals, and major artist tours by providing advanced lighting and laser technology.
Yamawaki is also the founder of WOLS, a deep techno party named after the independent label of underground techno virtuoso TAKAAKI ITOH. In 2022, he opened a bar of the same name in Osaka’s legendary underground hub Misono Universe. The bar’s interior, designed by eccentric artist OLEO, drew attention for its bold and unconventional aesthetic.
