1979年生まれ、横浜出身。10代にバンド活動を経た後に、2003年に単身渡豪。メルボルンにてDJキャリアをスタートする。 現地のローカルパーティーから、大型フェス『Rainbow Serpent』などにも出演し、2006年に帰国。 その後、インターナショナルパーティー『CUBIC LOOP』を立ち上げ、 Progressive Tranceのトップアーティスト「Perfect Stranger」や「Ace Ventura」などをいち早く日本に招聘し、シーンの活性化を図った。 2009年に一度活動を休止するが、ロシアのハバロフスクにて行われた カウントダウンパーティーへの出演を機に活動を再開。 現在は自身の地元である横浜にて、様々なローカルパーティーを企画。横浜赤レンガ倉庫のイベント広場にて『Brilliant Brick』を定期的に開催している。クラブだけではなく、様々なべニューでパーティーを開催し、ダンスミュージックシーンの更なる発展を目指している。 Techno、Houseのみならず、べニューに合わせたオリジナリティ溢れるDJセットは、今なおコアなファンの注目を集めている。
Born in 1979 and raised in Yokohama, RINN began his musical journey playing in bands during his teenage years before moving to Melbourne, Australia in 2003 to pursue a solo path. There, he launched his DJ career, performing at local parties and major festivals such as Rainbow Serpent. After returning to Japan in 2006, he founded the international party CUBIC LOOP, where he played a key role in energizing the local scene by booking top progressive trance artists like Perfect Stranger and Ace Ventura early in their rise.
After a brief hiatus beginning in 2009, his performance at a New Year’s countdown party in Khabarovsk, Russia, reignited his activity. He is now based in his hometown of Yokohama, where he organizes various local events—including the regular outdoor party Brilliant Brick held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse event space.
Known for curating unique DJ sets tailored to each venue, RINN moves fluidly between techno, house, and beyond, continuing to captivate core fans while contributing to the ongoing evolution of the dance music scene across diverse spaces—not just the club.
