Rickshinmi（リックシンミ）は、東京を拠点に活動するモジュラーシンセ奏者、DJ、コンピューターミュージシャン。2003年生まれ。メタルバンドでベースを担当していた経験から、激しい音への鋭い感性を生かし、ハードテクノの圧倒的なパワーとダーク・サイケの妖艶で深淵な響きを融合させ、フロアを唯一無二の世界へと引き込む、アグレッシブかつ没入感のあるプレイを得意とする。
オーガナイザーとしては、1990年代初頭のサイバーカルチャーとレイヴの交差点を描いたダグラス・ラシュコフの著書『Cyberia（サイベリア）』にインスピレーションを受けたパーティCyberiaを主催。ハードテクノとエクスペリメンタルなサイケデリックサウンドを交差させたこのパーティは、東京において異彩を放ち続けている。
また、彼は現代のレイヴカルチャーを記録・保存することにも力を注いでいる。2024年には、日本のガバシーンの現在を切り取ったZine『Gabber Now 2024』を出版。さらに、すべてがスクロールされ、流され、忘れ去られていくデジタル時代へのカウンターとして、2024年の日本のレイヴカルチャーをフライヤーという形で紙に刻んだヴィジュアル・アーカイブZine『RAVE FLYERS JAPAN 2024』を制作、出版した。
本とレイヴをこよなく愛し、愛し続けている彼による次なる出版物もすでに動き出している。続報をお楽しみに。

Rickshinmi (Rick She-n-mee) is a Tokyo-based modular synthesist, DJ, and computer musician, born in 2003. With a background as a bassist in a metal band, he brings a visceral sensitivity to intense sounds, blending the raw power of hard techno with the seductive depths of darkpsy. Known for his aggressive yet immersive floor-building, Rickshinmi crafts dancefloor experiences that transport audiences into his singular sonic world.
As an organizer, he runs Cyberia, a party inspired by Douglas Rushkoff’s Cyberia: Life in the Trenches of Hyperspace, a seminal work exploring the convergence of cyberculture and rave in the early 1990s. The event continues to make waves in Tokyo, fusing hard techno with experimental psychedelic soundscapes.
Beyond the dancefloor, he is committed to documenting and archiving contemporary rave culture. In 2024, he published two print Zines: Gabber Now 2024, a snapshot of the current Japanese gabber scene, and RAVE FLYERS JAPAN 2024, a visual archive that captures the spirit of Japanese rave culture through flyers—an act of resistance against the ephemerality of digital culture, where everything scrolls by and disappears.
